Creation (Genesis 1–2) — Kids Questions & God’s Answers (Video Script)
Teacher: Good morning, everyone! Today we’re starting with the very first Bible story—how God created the world. The Bible says, “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.”
Teacher: At first, there was darkness. The earth was empty. But God was there, and God began to create.
Daisy (in her heart): Created the world? Like… all of it? I don’t believe that. How could anyone do that?
Teacher: Day One—God said, “Let there be light,” and light appeared. God separated the light from the darkness. He called the light Day, and the darkness Night.
Daisy (in her heart): Wait… He just spoke and light happened? How can words make light?
Teacher: Day Two—God made the sky and separated the waters below from the waters above.
Daisy (in her heart): The sky is huge. How could it be made in one day?
Teacher: Day Three—God gathered the waters so dry land appeared. He made seas and land. Then God made plants—grass, flowers, trees, and fruit.
Daisy (in her heart): So the land and ocean just… showed up? And plants started growing? This sounds too big to be real.
Teacher: Day Four—God made the sun to shine in the day, the moon to shine at night, and the stars.
Daisy (in her heart): Stars? There are so many! Did God really make every one?
Teacher: Day Five—God filled the seas with fish and the sky with birds.
Daisy (in her heart): That’s… actually kind of awesome.
Teacher: Day Six—God made animals of every kind. And then God made people in His own image.
Teacher: God blessed them and gave them a beautiful job—take care of the earth and everything in it.
Daisy (in her heart): People are made in God’s image… what does that mean? Why would God make people?
Teacher: Day Seven—God rested. Not because He was tired, but because His work was complete. And God saw everything He had made, and it was very good.
Daisy (in her heart): “Very good”… so God felt happy? Did God… love what He made?
Daisy (in her heart): I have so many questions. I wish I could see what really happened.
God (voice, gentle): Daisy.
Daisy (startled, whispering): Who said my name?
God: I did. I hear your questions, even the quiet ones in your heart.
Daisy: Are You… God?
God: Yes. You are wondering how I created the world, and why.
Daisy: I don’t understand. How can You create something from nothing? And why would You make all of this?
God: Would you like to see it through My eyes?
Daisy: Through Your eyes?
God: I will help you. Look—these are for you.
Daisy: What are those?
God: Put on these special glasses, and I will show you what I did—and what I felt.
Daisy: Okay… I’ll try.
God (narration begins): In the beginning, there was darkness. The earth was empty. But I had a beautiful plan.
God: On the first day, I spoke light into existence, and it was good. The light pushed back the darkness. It brought warmth. It brought hope.
Daisy (softly): The light is… so beautiful.
God: On the second day, I made the sky—wide and open, a place for clouds and wind, a space full of wonder. And it was good.
Daisy: It’s so big… bigger than I imagined.
God: On the third day, I gathered the waters and let dry land appear. I shaped the seas and the earth. Then I covered the land with plants and fruit, colors and life. And it was good.
Daisy: The flowers… the grass… the colors… You made all of that?
God: Yes. I love beauty. I love life.
God: On the fourth day, I made the sun, moon, and stars—lights to mark days and seasons. And it was good.
Daisy: The stars… there are so many. Did You really make each one?
God: Every one. I know them all. And I know you, too.
God: On the fifth day, I filled the oceans with living creatures and the sky with birds. The waters swirled with life, and the skies sang with wings. And it was good.
Daisy: The fish are everywhere… it’s like a living painting.
God: On the sixth day, I made animals—great and small. Then I made people in My image.
Daisy: That part… I still don’t understand. What does “in Your image” mean?
God: It means I made people special. Not just to live, but to love. I gave them hearts to know goodness, minds to learn truth, and hands to care for what I made.
Daisy: So You made people… to be close to You?
God: Yes. I wanted relationship. I wanted love. I wanted people to walk with Me and enjoy My world.
Daisy: And Eden? The garden is so beautiful… Adam and Eve look so happy.
God: I made Eden as a gift. A safe, beautiful home. A place where love, peace, and joy could grow.
Daisy: So when You said “It was very good”… You meant You were happy?
God: I was pleased. I delighted in what I made. Creation was not an accident—it was My love shown in a world you can see.
Daisy (softly): I… I think I understand now.
God: Daisy, when you see the world—light, sky, oceans, animals—remember this: I made it with purpose. And I made you with purpose.
Daisy: Even me?
God: Yes. You are Mine. You matter. And I love you.
Daisy: Thank You, God.
Teacher: Daisy?
Daisy (startled): Huh?
Teacher (smiling, gentle): Class is ending. Are you okay?
Daisy (still amazed): Yes… I’m okay.
Teacher: Let’s all close our eyes and thank God for His creation.
Daisy (praying): Dear God, thank You for making the world. Thank You for the light, the sky, the oceans, the animals, and for making me too. Help me remember that everything You made is good. Help me trust You and love Your world. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Daisy (in her heart, peaceful): God made it all… and everything God made is good.
